Hi friends.
I'm new to the world of chameleons and could use a great deal of advice. You see, a close friend of mine passed away recently and I volunteered to take care of her chameleons. I don't know anything about reptiles but knew they were very dear and loved by her. The chameleons she had purchased were actually relatively new and I am oblivious to their age. Though one is certainly larger than the other and I am able to distinguish they are different sexes. The larger one seems to be female based on it's lack of patterns and having no bumps on the back of it's back feet like the other one does.
I put a laying bin in her cage but am unsure if it will work. The thing is that I suspect her to have eggs. She has gotten very large and I can see bumps on her sides. I am very worried she will get egg bound and die. Out of fear and concern I come here seeking advice towards providing the best environment for her to lay her eggs in a healthy way.
Thank you for understanding and I have attached a picture of the laying bin to this post.
