So I have a question about how to keep my worms alive long enough to become beetles/tiny moths. One time as a fluke I dropped one in the dirt of a pot I wasn't using and a few weeks later low and behold I watched it chang from worm to the second stage to beetle. It was pretty amazing. I tried it again with three worms but only one beetle came up again. So for any of you skilled bug breeders I ask how can I get them to stay alive long enough for them to fully change? Should I put little dividers in the dirt to keep them from eating each other or anything like that? Because tony seemed to really like the beetle/small moths (wax worm) but it seems like I keep only ever getting them on accident. Any advice is great, thanks guys.
