Superworm beetles

I had a superworm that turned into a beetle and I found it in his cage! I want Herbie to try to eat him but I'm seeing a bunch of different reviews on the beetles. What do y'all think? Do they bite? Maybe the exoskeleton is a bit too hard?

They are quite hard and probably don’t make a very good snack. No idea if they would bite. Everything with a mouth is capable of biting.

Super worms bite so I bet the beetles do as well.
