my superworm container has massive mold growth in it.
it is one of thos plastic showboxes that have a lid that
closes with two snaps. i havent opened it in like two days,
and i was going to give one to my cham today but there is massive mold
growth in there.

they are in oatmeal, some carrots, orange cubes (flukers), and some
collard greens. that is all.

are they bad?
can i feed them to him in a few days of re-gut-loading?

how can i make them not get moldy?

i cant leave the top opened because in the past, i have found like
15 ants in there, but i might be able to now. should i leave it
opened a little?
was it because of no airflow that the mold grew?

also can i gutload with mango?
i have a mango that is half eaten, and i want to know if i can give it to my
crickets and supers?

thanks.

thanks, it has a .9:1 ration of cal to phos.
it is worth it or will it ruin the calcium vcalue of the cricket or worm?

it wont ruin it, its essentially 1 to 1, so it doesnt hurt nor help the ca/ph ratio. i wouldnt use it exclusively, but in conjunction with other fruits and veggies it can be a good diversifying gutload ingredient to alternate with; like apples and cantelope. all about diversifying feeder diets.

just be sure to add another 1 part calcuim somewhere b4 feeding time.
