superworms problem

i bought some supers a week ago, but they keep dying and eating, i always find eaten dead superworms, and some of them are like at the top just spinning. they always have carrots, apples or papaya to eat and they are in a worm chow mixed with outs. what could be going wrong....

What temperature are you keeping them at? I keep mine in the 70's. Superworms are weird, though. They will eat each other a little bit, pretty much no matter what you do. It seems to help to give them some high protein feed, too. I use soybean meal in my bedding mix, and it seems to help. I also put in a boiled egg once a week or so and they chow down on it pretty quickly.

well its very hot here. the temps right now are like 85-87
