Superworms?

Mine i just keep in a aquarium with a lid, with a stick and some foor, they dont really need ground soil or anything, that i know of, mine like to hide under a stck, or bark and i pick it up to get some worms.... Im pretty sure if you use sand / soil etc it can get stuck in there intestines ETC

so, i would say no, just something for them to hide under and some gutload.. (I use lots of veggies...)

Some people use oats as a bedding because they can eat it but it becomes a hassle when they eat some oats with some of their waste on it..

thats a good idea about the stick I didn't think of that!!!!!!!Are patatoes good for gut loading,or what do you use?

Use wheat bran.
Quacker Oats (the kind you see in the red and blue canister) will also work. It acts as a food source and substrate. Just make sure you add some veggies for hydration

how much oat do I use?just enough to cover the bottom or more or less?

I am not sure about breeding them, mine breeded (Bred?) in my aquarium there in.. i found some lil babdys :p But yes... apparently they like oats, carrots... uhmm... sweet potatos... Im not sure what else... but oats is good, i put oats in a lil dish with a stick leading up, some worms hide in the oats, Some hide under the dish, or under bark..

I use oats, bran, seeds etc as a substrate, with veggies and fruit added. I do change the bedding periodically due to build up of waste matter. Superworms will eat most anything you feed a roach or cricket.

Cricket Crack is a purchased gutload.

you can also feed gutloaded crickets kill them first by decapatation then throw them on top of the bedding the will devour them faster the anthing else:)
