Superworms

Right now I have some baby dubia roaches that are too small to feed. I cant find anyone selling crickets. All I can find are superworms and hornworms. Can superworms be a temporary staple diet for a 10 month old veiled and 6 month old panther chameleon? Thanks :)

You should check out this thread... We meet next week on tuesday.

If you can't get crickets, be sure to mix things up if your staple will be supers. supers are easy to gutload... but you need to keep an eye on how much you feed supers. It will help if you can offer silkworms or hornworms. superworms have hard bodies that can cause impaction if that is the only food item in the cham's diet.

Superworms have a high fat content. I would not use them as a staple for a month. Im sure you can find alternative feeders if you go online or ask others in your area.
