supplementing and his nose.

so i have had chammie for about 5 or 6 weeks now. when i first got him his nose had a white area around it. i did a search and i found that most believe this to be over supplementing. so i still have not given any supplements since he arrived over a month ago. how ever the white is still there. any other ideas what this is? or what to do?
should i start supplementing with his crickets tomorrow?

It may just be the crusty dried up white stuff from a month ago still stuck on there. Have you gave him a good mist down? You can start supplementing again just make sure you have a good schedule and don't over do it.

It could just be some dry skin from a previous shed or he is getting ready to shed. If the white stuff looks like small salt crystals, then that is the over supplementation happening.
