I used to be SOOO against any sort of animal that didn't have fur.... Now I have a beautiful little boy and I find myself wandering to the thought of a beardy and a ball python... Who the hell am I!? I also just find myself daydreaming at work about how I can improve Leif's enclosure and how to arrange him and everything I need to do to make him happy.

Well, I grew up with a love of herptiles, but when I was young chameleons were all but impossible to purchase.

So I already had the ball python, the red-tailed boa, the tortoises, etc. When chams finally became available I really didn't want to bother with the other animals much. These days my kids have a few- a green iguana, a bearded dragon, but I'm not as interested.

I hated reptiles! Why would anyone want a reptile? I spent a week at my sisters house and had to help her with a sick Cham. Ugh, then I liked it, then I loved it! Damn, I was hooked, that was a lot of years ago. I have kept a number of reptiles. Chameleons have always won as my favorite. I have had and breed lots of them. Now years later,I have one parsons, and some williamsi geckos.

I swore that would be it for me. I have grown up. (Lots of laughing, and disbelief from my family) I am even now discussing a leachie, and a female parsons. I need a support group for my addiction.

I just knew some of my friends would know I am hopeless! Problem is I really do love them. My family thinks I am weird, how strange is that?
