Thanks, J!I have got a colony of Surinam roaches as well. Looks like you found a source though.

Not a problem. Surinam roaches are a great species of roach to choose to make as a feeder colony. They are one of my top roach species as feeder insects. I choose a Surinam roach colony over a Dubia roach colony easily. Thanks, J!

Surinam roaches fly!. No! Not this species. They are burrowers. They are kind of creepy watching them emerge from the soild to eat food, very "Tales from the Crypt". However the species I feed them to cannot get enough of them and they gut load the best compare to other roach species.Do they fly?
No flying, but great little climbers. I had a colony, but sold it because I couldn’t stand them climbing when I tried to grab some. They are also pretty fast. Great size though for smaller chams.Do they fly?
Do they fly?
Thats enough "nope" for me. I'll stick to dubias! No but they are great escape artists. They climb and the adults can squeeze / sneak out at times. I keep mine in a mud room and they're native here in Florida so not an issue for me if a few escape.
