I have one veiled and three panthers. I have a outside cage that I rotate two thru daily. Lots of plants. Auto mist every three hours. But it is in the nineties in Houston high humidity. I bring two for 24 hours and next morn rotate the other two. My house has Ac thank heavens. Question is is it too hot outside for them? Does it harm them. To go from hot outside to cool inside? Would they be better off staying outside or staying inside?

being from san antonio i know the weather. 90 is too much for them for extended periods of time. i would suggest getting them out for a few hours in the am, then back inside. the humidity should be fine outside, just on the hot side as even in the shade its still 90. if they are in the sun, which i recommended for their best health, too much is still no good at the high temp

I would imagine it would be a problem if they can't get below 90 because they need to be able to thermoregulate and the highest recommended ambient temp I have seen is 80F.

Bringing them in to a cooler environment should not be a problem as long as they have a standard basking lamp and are able to have a temp gradient.

Mid day temps may be too hot, even in shade.
I would only put them out early morning and bring them indoors before the afternoon heat.
That's what I do, it's been too hot here to.
