after weeks of watching what appeared to be a broken and possibly dead ootheca sit on top of my bearded dragon's cage for heat and misting daily i had actually almost given up but wow. i returned from a 12 hour shift to paydirt........then panic. it had been so long since i read about mantis i forgot what to do......a sudden look over my basement and the 6 week old fruit fly culture i bought spoke to me. several taps into the mantis home and

to all those who have never done this before no matter how much you want to call it quits and think the ooth is dead be cautious i was fooled
