At what age in a male veiled chameleon's life should you switch from feeding daily to every other day? Thanks!

So when you'd switch feeding do you give them as many every other day as they ate every day? Example as in if they ate 8 a day 8 every other day? Or if they ate 12 a day 12 every other day?

If they are well filled out and healthy I switch males to every other day around 8 or 9 months old. I feed the same amount every other day as I would feed everyday.
