I want to get my very first Veiled Chameleon, so over the last few months (spare time willing :roll eyes: ) I have been building my own enclosure and its coming along pretty well! Now the only part I'm stumped over is lighting, I have a basking light in place and I am confident with that. The part thats getting me is for the UVB bulb fitting; because I am making my own enclosure, from wood, a typical canopy hood fitting won't suffice. I've been reading about T10 T8 T5 bulbs and I'm driving myself insane. I think I'm settled on T5 from what I've read but I'm struggling finding a fitting that I can use. I found this fitting for; what the description says is suitable for T8 and T10 bulbs but cant find anything similar for a T5? does anyone know of anything similar to the picture or if it even exists?!
any help would be great!
Also I want to be able to put 2 bulbs on, as I will be using lots of live plants!
