T8 UV bulb choice

With the current lighting I have on my enclosure I am stuck with using the Exo Terra Duo top I have. There are two T8 bulbs and a 35 watt halogen. I have a 5.0 in one and full spectrum Zoo Med bulb in the other. Also run a second Exo Terra top with two grow lights. Enclosure is heavily planted.

Should I switch to a 10.0 UV tube? I'm guessing the UV output will still be less than a good T5HO bulb.

if your heavily planted in my opinion I do think it would be a good idea for you to do it so in my opinion you should

In a heavily planted enclosure I would do the 10.0, especially for veileds (assuming from your avatar).

Do correct me if I'm wrong...
But I think there's 2 things to consider, output in intensity and output in range, while a 10.0 light has more intensity the range isn't necessarily more than that of a 5.0, the HO will have more range.

Unless you have plant growth between the basking spot and the UVB bulb I do not think you will need to upgrade to 10.0...
Will it be harmful for your Veiled to have a 10.0? I don't think so, but I don't think it will give a whole lot of benefits either.
