I've included some pictures. I came home today, and my poor chameleon's tail looked different than when I had left her earlier in the day. Her tail is brownish and flat.
As you can hopefully see in my bad quality photos, nearly a centimeter of the end of her tail is messed up. I've done a little research, found possible causes of shedding problems or vitamin a deficiency.
She's still lively, likes to crawl all over stuff, doesn't seem to be in pain when I touch it. She cant curl her tail fully, as the end of the tail seems to be hardened. When I look closely, it seems like a substance is hardened over her tail, and its translucent too. So this leads me to believe possible shedding problem, but I havent seen her shed yet, had her for a month.
We thank you for any help and friendly replies!
