taking showers!

is it normal for a chameleon to like to stand under the dripper and give himself a lil shower?

I for one and thrilled because i was scarred he wasnt getting enough water, but his poop is whitening up every time.

Is liking showers a normal trait for veiled? or is it kind of rare?
i think its the cutest thing ever!

He hates getting misted, but sits under the dripper, who wouldve though!?

Its not normal. but not weird either.
He was probably thirsty and he knows thats where you put his water.
But very cute nontheless.

Mine loooove showers. I've had panthers mostly but they love sitting under the mister with their eyes closed and just soak it up. That's why I give such long mistings, I think they enjoy being able to just sit and get it in their eyes and their skin.

If yours doesn't enjoy misting why not try to make something that drips rain? A really ghetto version is a milk gallon jug with several pin holes on the bottom. It'll drip over a wider area and simulate a type or rain - sorta. You can try making something larger or get one of those raindomes.
