I use Ghanns Cricket Farm. Though I have had good experiences with Lucky Lure....Unfortunately my boyfriend has a horrible eye allergy to crickets from Armstrongs who also supply Lucky Lure.
Has anyone else developed such a allergic reaction ONLY to certain crickets?? What could be in those and not others causing his eye to get so red, watery and puffy?

i use lucky lure - by way of juli for the crix
get my silks from coastal. i prefer to order over the phone and both businesses allow this and are very curteous.
the allergie to the crix is likely due to the protein in their poop. not sure why one farm would be different from the other - very strange.

i wonder if we all put our order in at the same time to lucky lure, if they'd give us a a quantity discount and ship to different addresses, i'm sure they would...they probably just wouldn't want to be payed by a bunch of different people

I doubt they would. The quantity discount is related to the decreased shipping cost per box when multiple boxes are shipped together.
I use Lazy-H-Bait. I end up paying $12/1000 shipped at the quantity we order for myself and the lab combined.
