I don't want to go on a whole diatribe about my chamo experience so far(and I'm sure this is a common story)but I got into this hobby about 3 months ago with my purchase of a male veiled and no forethought and a lot of bad info from pet the pet store.Don't get me going on the fact that they shouldn't sell animals they know nothing about or at the very least should not give out info they don't know is correct or not,and I do take my own share of the responsiblity in not doing the research myself. That being said I never thought I was going to fall in love with these facinating creatures and wind up doing everytning in my power to make them happy.I say they as in the last week I purchased a mountain dwarf chamo and she is the sweetest most docile lil thing compared to my cantancerous veiled but I love him just the same.So much for the short storyand why I am writing this thank you for all the help and despite all my actions detrimental to their health in the begining they now live better than I do in spacious mesh enclosures which I am improving thanks to all of your help

You welcome! I'm not sure if i ever helped, but i do say it for everyone in the froum. thats why this site was made. to help save animals lives. Just think about how many chameleons would have died if it wasnt for this site......

Congrats :)

Congrats on your new purchase! And stick with us. In the future when you see others struggling with those same problems you can chime in with the things you learned. It's unfortunate that we sometimes have to gain knowledge through bad experiences but that is the way it often is. But you can share this knowledge now with others :)

Yeah, don't get me started with Petsmart. I had to run in the other day and I couldn't find meal worms. So I asked, she handed them to me and asked what I had. I told her and she wasn't sure if chams could eat mealies. She started to go look it up until I told her I was sure. hmmmmmmm.....
