Okay, the litter born 12/24/11 is mature, and the babies are going out to their adoptive families from Chameleonforums.com . Fed Ex package #1 goes out tomorrow, and a pair of babies are already in their new home nearby. I'll try to post photos of the parents, and can you adoptive parents post your babies and set ups here? Thanks!!

Hey, this is fun. I'd love to pop out a few more litters and send them out. The experience is worth any headache and expense. Maybe someday I'll attempt an egg-laying species, but it seems like too much work and worry.

Just arrived!!!!!!!

Just received our new addition. Thank you soooooooo much.

Our "no name yet" :) has so far ate 3 silkworms, and just walked in on him having a HUGE drink of water, and then a nice yawn. His colors are starting to relax, and we even saw a little red on his chin when he yawned. :)

Joe, thank you again. We can tell that he has definitely been well taken care of, and he will continue to be. We absolutely love him already. :D

You can thank my wife Debbi who was OBSESSED with the babies the first time we got a litter and we learned alot (she was pregnant and a little baby crazy). Now's it's easy. Being a biologist in a previous life I can set up fruit fly cultures and feed them by the thousands to my hatchlings for practically free. You know how fruit flies have those tiny bright red eyes? Well, when the babies poop the red eyes must be indigestible because the solid part of the poop is all red speckled. TMI???

The boys have been greening up a bit. The girls stay brown/black with red on the flank and neck, and white/gray ay night.

HAHA! thats really funny. I was not aware of that.
I only keep ff around right now for my mantid babies.

Our kids named the two adult females Fluffy and Snowball, and the dad Jermaine (as in Jermaine Jackson, get it?). Since they came on Christmas Eve and there was 10 (one RIP) the kids named the babies after the reindeer (hold onto your hat): Juno, Dasher and Dancer, Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid, and Donner and Blitzen--- plus Olive the other reindeer. Who knows which ones you all got?
