The moment of passing

Here is a sad moment I happened to catch. It shows a 5 day old dwarf that passed away in my hand. The little guys are really fragile in the first months so its almost impossible to tell why they suddenly just crash.

I put him on my hand to warm up after finding him in a bad way. The pain was causing his colours to shift quite dramatically until he suddenly lay still and all the colour drained out of him.

The photos were taken about 10secs apart.
