When she finally laid eggs for me a few weeks after I'd received her, and I called my vendor to let him know the good news, all he said was, "Are you serious????" The disbelief in his voice was palpable. So, I was then convinced it was all just a sales pitch and he didn't really believe she was gravid in the first place. That or he didn't think she'd lay successfully.
Did the female survive?
Congratulations!
Thanks much.
I kept the female for 8-9 months after laying, and then sold her to a guy who wanted to breed her. He said she passed about six months later.
@BackwaterReptiles Do you still breed Rudis ( Trioceros sternfeldi )? It's like they disappeared from the pet trade is it still legal to have them?
Monday evening update:
Two more chams hatched this afternoon, so we're at a total of 18.

That is some great newsThanks everyone, much appreciated!
We're up to 26 hatchlings as of this morning (Thursday). Haven't lost a baby so far, they're all doing well. We'll see I suppose.
I've been feeding them hydei, melanogaster, and 1/8" crickets. Might experiment with baby roaches in the coming weeks.
Best regards,
Sam
Excellent. Are you housing them in groups or individualy? Thanks everyone, much appreciated!
