Thermometers

Hi guys. Sorry to bother again, but i have a question about thermometers.......... i know this might sound funny, but i want to know if i could use a Meat Thermometer for my chameleons cage... i know this sounds a bit dumb, ha ha.... but im trying to keep Tarzan as healthy as possible.. Thank You

Not sure if that would work or not. Analog meat thermometers would probably not go low enough, and I would think a digital one would probably eat a lot of batteries. I guess you could try it, if you have one laying around. Just make sure your chameleon can't accidentally impale himself on the end, or get poked in the eye. You'd be better off, just buying a digital thermometer with a probe.
