I'm always blown away by how quick these guys change colors. I never get use to it. These pictures are taken between 2-3 minutes apart. Leo loves being outside lol.

Oh wow, he's great looking! I really like how his yellow bits seem to outline other colors.

Stunning color!! His yellow remind me of lightening :)

Yeah I love the yellow! It' has only started coming out in his last few times outside. I'll look for the pic but he gets a white and red with it sometimes too.

Amazing how fast they can change colors eh??!!

Yeah its crazy. We had family who don't know anything about them come over and just seeing people watch them and be blown away by these amazing creatures makes me chuckle everytime!

Pretty boy. What locale @bluesox68 ?

Thank you! He is a Ambilobe from a fantastic breeder here in Southern Ontario Canada.

Out of curiosity, how much do panthers cost (in Canadian dollars) from a good breeder in Southern Ontario?

I did t a lot of research before buying and in my opinion I purchased from the best breeder of ambilobes and If I remember right I got Leo for $250 but they were great and gave me a deal. Short answer $250-350. So transferred to American... peanuts lol

Thanks. I was just curious. My husband desperately wants to retire in Canada in a few years and was just curious: if I still any chameleons, what the market would be like.

I'm not a panther person but looking at your other pictures, the most recent pictures above look like a blanched chameleon to me.

Chameleons blanch for a variety of reasons but severe stress is a big one. Overheating is a form of severe stress. Was he overheated?

Hmm, Im trying to think back and I believe all the conditions were fine. His outdoor encloser is a great size and has lots of coverage. We also put a lid on half the top to provide lots of shade. As for misting that is something we are very diligent with. We use a pressurized 2 gallon and probably use a gallon every 30-40 minutes. When they are outside they are wet more then they are dry. Could that be a stresser? I'll look at the date of the pic when I get home but I'm 90% sure this was during a pairing for breeding too. Either before or after. I appreciate bringing this to my attention too. When someone as knowlageable as yourself make an observation I'd be a fool not to listen lol. If you would like to tag others who could know I'd appreciate it too. I want to make sure everything is fine when he's outside.

Not in my opinion. Blanched is totally different in my opinion. I have dealt with it. It's kind of like their pajama colors usually except almost whiter.
