I have had three bulbs burn out in the past three days, could it be a problem with the fixture?? The one I just put in is doing ok but may be blown tomorrow, any suggestions?

Maybe a short inside the socket of your fixture, becareful checking it or fixing it, disconnect power beforehand, good luck

Ditto on that "be careful". I had a bad hood that kept blowing bulbs. I went up to replace the whole dome, and it sparked at me when I moved it. Eek.

ive had a bulb i have been using for weeks moved it around today and stopped working tried another bulb not working. tried a head emmiter it worked. than i looked at the two and the base seemed longer on the heat emmitter. so guess it was a fluke chance i got a connection. but ive also have had fixtures that had shorts that a simple tap or turn the fixture and started to work

I also would suspect the fixture. But you might also verify that water is not hitting the bulb in its current location (especially if you have an auto mister)

Let bulbs cool off first before changing or moving them. Moving or shaking hot bulbs can damage them, even break the filaments.
