Tongue-safe materials

I've been seeing a lot of content lately about chams getting their tongue stuck to things and potentially needing amputation. I'd really like to add these props to an enclosure because I feel like they would give a unique aesthetic and things for the cham to climb on but I need to know: would they pose any risk to a chameleon?

(Note about the lamp: it doesn't contain any glass. It's all plastic)

Hi, I don’t see any benefits from any of these items except the risk they can offer. All of these can’t handle the moisture and uvb really well and will deteriorate by time and can cause harm. For that price you can better buy plants for the chameleon, looks more naturalistic and beneficial as well. We’re trying to replicate their natural environment and not a movie set from Indiana Jones 😉 (just kidding, but you get my point)

Welcome to the forum. You are weighing out their health and safety for your visual enjoyment. For that simple fact these items just are not needed nor do they serve a purpose for the chameleon. Replicating their natural environment with real branches and live plants is what will provide for the chameleon.
