Took a fall:(

We have a white bird of paradise plant in our living room and Charles took alittle fall just a few minutes ago from about 4 feet on to the carpet. Is there anything i should look for in the next few days? He seemed allittle stunned but he allowed me to pick him up off the ground and he is climbing on my arm right now.

He should be ok, especially because he fell on the carpet. I have had chameleons fall from higher up than that on hard ground and they never got hurt. I would just look for him not using or favoring any of limbs and he could show a bruise where he hit his body.

Mine took a four foot fall hanging upside down all the way down to a glass bottom. He is fine. It worried me also, I think he was freaked out, he didn't eat or drink for a couple days so I took him to the vet and he got a vitamin shot and fluids

My 5 month old veiled fell around 4 feet onto the carpet a few weeks ago. He was stunned at first, but is completely fine, besides possibly a bruised ego.

I haven't noticed any bruising and he seems very active. I think all is good

mine took a 7 foot leap of faith from climbing out of the cage and i caught him at around 4 feet... then right while i was trying to get him back in out of my hand today i felt horrible but this thread made me relax about it a little, but i gave him a hornworm like 5 minutes later and he munched it up and seems to be fine
