Is it more like a coordination problem or a physical problem?

Lack of tongue control can be a sign of other problems. It might be a good idea to fill out the "how to ask for help" information (sticky near the top of this forum. Copy the "questions" and paste them into a reply, type your responses in after each question).

Yeah, I would copy and paste the "how to ask for help" sticky! Then everyone might be able to pinpoint what the problem might be!

i use d3 twice a month and vitamins twice a month and calium every other feeding i dont put him outside but i do put him on my window for a little sun and he stays in side the rest of the day

What specific supplements do you use?
What do you gutload/feed your insects with?

Tongue issues can be caused by infection, nutrient imbalance, injury and likely even hydration issues.

Sandrachameleon has a great blog post on supplements: https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/sandrachameleon/65-supplements.html

If you are worried about your pet, you should start a new thread. Fill out the "how to ask for help" info so people can see what you are doing, upload pictures if you think they will help us understand.

Jumping into someone else's thread often leads to confusion and inaccurate information.

Have you read through the board's recommendations about supplements and care? If so, maybe it's all good.

If not, maybe you should tell us what you are doing so the experts can evaluate it.

I fully understand why you might be reluctant, but if you are asking for help, it's probably a good idea to give the information your helpers request.
