transporting chameleon to vet?

How can I minimize stress during transport to the vet 25 minutes away?
When we took our cham to the vets we took a cardboard box and poked a branch through the sides so it runs through the middle, lined the bottom with a towel, and my girlfriend held the box all the way in the car. In the beginning you could hear Nosy scratching around, but he soon settled down.

Here's a good link for info

The hard bit was getting him in the box :p He was having none of it!

Hope this helps

Also, if you think your cham will "have none of it", turn the cage lights off a while before you need to box it up, so the cham chills down and gets a bit sleepy. Cooler brain means less reactive.

Thanks for the tip Carlton, will definitely use it next time
