Tree Branches Safe For Chameleons?

So I want to put some tree branches in my chameleon cage.

Currently I have a plum tree, apricot tree, cherry tree, and a nectarine tree.

Are any of these trees' branches safe for chams? From my research, I have found that plum leaves are toxic, but cherry and apricot trees are safe.

Just wanted to confirm ;)

I use pretty much any branches that look nice in my cage but mostly use crepe myrtle because of their natural twisting. I strip the leaves first since they are going to fall off and make a mess anyway. If I am setting up for babies I put the branches in the oven on 350 for 10 minutes just to get rid of hitchhikers. The other cages for sub adult or adults I just rinse them off and put them in and use zipties to make a network of branches for them to climb.

Haha "hitchhikers," I like that. :D

I'll probably go with the apricot, and yeah, I'll strip the leaves and probably shave off the bark for cleanliness.
