Tube Cage

These are cool and easy little cages. I had two hanging off my back porch that I would use to let my guys get a lil real sun when weather permits!

very easy, simple and securely done. This can be done on a larger scale too.

the same tube cage made 5 times as big would be awesome for a cham.

I know this is an old post, but I am currently making a tube cage as my Memorial day project. (It beats mowing...again). Mine is based off of a design that I saw on here that used flower pots rather than the drain pans. I am running a piece of pvc pipe in the middle to connect the 2 flower pots.

I have not been able to find the post to link to, but I also saw where someone used the bigger plastic pans for flower pots, and have even heard of someone using a water heater drain pan that you can get from a hardware store like Lowes or Home Depot.

For my screen, I am using 1/4" plastic screen that I got at a farm supply store. I will be holding it to the flower pots using zip ties going through holes that I will be drilling into the edge of the flower pots.

I am still working on an idea for the door, but hopefully I will remember to take pictures along the way, or at least of the completed project.
