Turn for the Worst

You can find the previous details of my situation here https://www.chameleonforums.com/threads/lethargic-male-jackson.151364/

My young male jackson went from lethargic, and refusing food and water, to lifeless at the bottom of his cage today. I went to get Repti-Boost and when I came home I thought he was dead. He is trying to open his eyes, but his jaw is now slack, his eyes are extremely sunken, and he cannot move his limbs or grip. I tried my best to get the Repti-Boost in him but I'm afraid of hurting him or stressing him any further.

My big question is, is there any hope, at all, and if there is, what I can do. Currently I have him in a plastic container on a towel inside his larger enclosure.

After this they decline quickly, I'm sorry to say. I agree with theveiled, water is important. Keep him as comfy as possible because it's not going to be much longer.
How is he?

Thank you very much. He passed not long after I posted this thread. I feel terrible for not being more proactive sooner to help him. I doubt it would have made a difference, but it's still really upsetting.

RIP little dude.
He was a wild caught, those definitely aren't predictable. Don't beat yourself up! It just happens sometimes.

Thank you for the kind words. I forgot to check back here until this morning. We had a little burial ceremony for him, wrapped him in some ti leaves from around the yard and a few bits of pele's hair from his cage. I'm taking it as an opportunity to really spruce the cage up, make some modifications that would have been difficult with a live cham in there, and try with a captive bred specimen.
