Turtle Help

Now, before you leave because of this topic im about to share, DONT I need help. This doesnt have to do with chameleons but my dad is out of town and asked me to take care of his turtles. I know they need damp moss and dirt so i watered it and there is way too much water. Its freezing outside and we have 6 babies in the garage out there. I need to know how to dry it before he gets home so i dont get in trouble and i dont want them to die because their not mine but im responsible while hes gone and if its too cold theres a risk of them dying. theyre out right now feeding so please help i know this doesnt involve chameleons but the turtle forums wouldnt work so.... Thank you!

Turtles or tortoises? I would honestly call your father as he will more than likely be the expert in all this versus members of the chameleon forum. I am sure he will be less upset with you if you tell him you over-watered than you telling him later that the turtles died because you were too afraid to tell him beforehand.
