Twitching chameleon

Hi!
My 1 yr old cham gideon's muscles have started twitching for the last 2 days now. He hasn't wanted to eat in the last 4 days but has been drinking water. He's now having problems grasping onto the limbs in his tree.
He mainly eats super worms and occasional crickets...I've been dusting em 1x to 2x a week with repashy calcium plus...
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Please fill out the how to ask for help form and post pictures of the chameleon and set up so we can make sure your doin everything correctly. He should have a varied diet and calcium every feeding along with d3 and a multivitamin twice a month.

You may be over supplementing him. If the Repashy Calcium Plus is a calcium and multivitamin supplement and you are giving that 2x a week, that's way too much multivitamin. You are going to need at least two different products:

But supplements are just one aspect of nutrition - providing a really good gutload for your insects is equally important.

Repashy's Calcium Plus claims it's

"an all-in-one insect dusting powder that provides essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements which transforms insects into a food item that has an optimal calcium/phosphorus ratio."

The directions call for a light coating with every feeding.
I had this product recommended to me, with the same instructions, by Kammerflage Kreations who actually endorse Repahey. They also say they've been using it for over 3 years.
I personally can't vouch for it as I've only been using it for a month or so. But I'd say i'm inclined to trust the Kammer's advice.

(Im new to Chameleons so I could be completely wrong)

yes

one had Phosphorus one without and one had vitamin d3 all are calcium i use all three if you just use one type you could be overloading with phosphorus

I too use a similar supplement schedule that's being suggested with no issues so far.
I have three different supplements I use.
The first is just straight calcium which goes on almost every feeding.
The second is the multivitamin (without D3 and only 4.5% calcium) that he gets about once a week.
And the third is calcium with D3 that he gets every other week.

I decided to get three different supplements rather than buying one or two that cover everything he needs to be sure I can balance it out and adjust what he's getting a little easier, as needed.
