Hi Chameleon Family
Just wanted to share the difference in size at 3 months old from the same clutch.. Born the week of Dec. 3 2020.
The bigger one was adopted out last month and doing great at her new home.
The smaller one is a keeper of mine. Note: I kept the smaller ones, since I enjoy the extra attention needed.
This is also to help those asking about the age of their chameleons by size (can't be done 100%).

Get this--- She was (not sure now) the smaller of 2 groups that went out in early Jan. I am afraid to see those ones (better I don't). (y)

Shhhhhhhhhhh *** That is Saul*** but he has 2 siblings same size as him.
Oooh, you cant get one over on us. Anyone who reads your posts would've guessed it was Saul!! How is his sight doing??

Update! Saul is doing great but his right eye is a little smaller and does not see well out of it. If someone didn't know him they would say he is dehydrated until they looked at his other eye). "Thou shall not _______". :D(y) Thanks for asking

Separated at different sheds- (y) About 10 years ago I had some babies and sometimes they were eating the shed of the other ones and tail nipping. Learned my lesson.. Thanks for asking, since this is an educational site and other might not think of that..
Just made a batch of silk mix and eggs are warming up. (How did you know I better check my camera feeds)
Note: Saul was so small for the first 30 days (eyes not open/force feeding) but after his shed he wanted nothing to do with fruit flies, pinheads, baby superworms but med crickets were his target. I did not like that so would remove back legs and 2 others. Unfortunately he is fearless so I have to be carful.
Sorry! There is a story to everything I have... will not get into the ones missing toes and 1 having to many from birth. There will never be off springs from these two, so will be keepers too.

Panther is 5 months 4" snout to vent- Veiled is 4 months- 3" snout to vent. Cool! and they don't mind being different either-

The casque on the left picture looks kind of unique, cool chams!

Saul's profile "up close and personal". These were taken 3 -11 -2021after eating 3 medium crickets (breakfast). If you look close, there is a definite issues with both eye and the damage to his scales (about where an ear would be) from force feeding his first 30 days. The dark marks have cleared up during shed but now the area is white.
