types of fake plants?

Hi again everyone. I am setting up my cages for my panther chameleons that I will be getting later in the week. I plan to pick up some live plants off the safe list here on the forum but am also planning to use some of the fake plants and vines I already have left over from my geckos to fill out the cages and make them feel secure.
My question is: When using fake plants do they need to be made of plastic or are the silk type ok as well? I only use the plastic type for my frogs on the rare occasion that I use fake for them but I was cautioned not to use the silk ones for them since it can cause health issues or even death in some species. I am trying to figure out what rules do and dont apply to the chams as I try to get out of my frog mode :) so I thought this would be a good group to ask. Thank you in advance for your input and advise:)

i have both plastic plants from the pet store and the silk type ivy vines that you can buy from walmart in the craft section for like $5, my veiled loves his $5 vines lol

Thanks for the reply. I mixed plastic and silk type plants along with vines and real plants in one of my cages. My concern was if they were to try and eat the leaves on the silk plants if that could cause a problem. I would hope they would have no desire to eat them or would not be able to even if tried but thought it was better to ask and see if anyone else has done it successfully or with tragic results before I went ahead with it. Thanks again and I am open to anyone else who would like to share their experience on this one.
