Unexpected buy at bird show:-)

Ok so yesterday my plan was toys, more toys and maybe some lady goulidian finches. It didn't quite go down that way b/c I got a 4 wk old Goffins Cockatoo instead He or she is doing great and today's 1st feeding went better. Saturday feedings were like "feed me but wait you're not who has been feeding me?" I start feeding my parrotlets today too so I'm gonna be busy..hehe

I haven't thought of a name yet? I'm sure I'll have one today, a name that goes either way for male and female.

My heart just skipped a beat

I was told yesterday by my sister in law that i could have their parrot cage... agghhhh we dont have the space!

Hahaha, that's funny b/c I call my Hahns Macaw a green turkey and one of his 1st things to say was "hey turkey"

The baby's 2nd feeding went really good so I am very happy. Once he/she fell asleep the Macaws got loud and woke the baby up in the other room. Then everyone was calling back and forth with the baby....awwww.

Oh Gary, there's always room...hehe....as I sit here looking around my livingroom wondering where am I gonna put a cage?

Awww, congrats! I had a rescued goffins that i fostered for a few months, lovely little birds!

It still shocks me that you can buy baby birds like this in America. Its against the law to buy or sell unweaned birds over here.
