Hello, hope all is well.
I’ve finally been able to get a few things done here.
Who knew the hardest part was branch placement….
I put these up and took them down 6 times until I finally said whatever and kept it the way it is and I’m still unsure about it lol.
I built a small stand for the mistking out of a cheap plank from Lowe’s.
My friend gave me this Inkbird temperature controller and after watching a few videos I found it’s very useful.
Went around town on my day off and found some nice dracaena and pothos, plus a few others, all washed and repotted, just need some smooth flat beach rocks to cover the soil (plan to get those this weekend maybe).
Today my dome reflector arrived, it’s a flukers 8.5 dimmer, paired with an Arcadia 6% uvb and Arcadia jungle dawn.
I purchased a 2 pack of Govee bluetooth hygrometers and have been trying out different misting cycles and monitoring them overnight.
Used Duck window film to cover 2/3 of the sides and the bottom half of the back, great to keep humidity in and stop splashes from getting out as well.
Currently using 4 different temp/humidity gauges to monitor, so hopefully I figure this out soon.
Once these plants start growing, I’m gonna remove some and rearrange, but for now, I’m beginning to like how it looks.
Thanks for reading!
