Well, he was sedated yestarday and his tongue was rolled out to see any abnormalities. The vet took many pics of the tongue and there are no issues at all with it. She said muscle contraction is normal and it responded very well. She even said that when he was sedated, he retracted his tongue!! which is very good because he was basically knocked out.. he was a trooper. she had to give him three doses of the sedation and also had to give him a muscle relaxer. So basically, she said that since there is no abnormalities, it could just be hurting him from a strain or injury. She also gave him some liquid calcium just incase its a calcium deficiency, although she doesn't think its a deficiency because the tongue issue started within hours of him using it normally before earlier that day... I guess we will have to see how he eats tommorow but hopefully it gets better!!
