Update on 'Isis'

no....i think your wrong....concidering isis is still small geting blood could be difficult and far to stressful on the cham. Pssh is very good in decision making and discussing her issues privately with very experienced members....im sure there are a few vets on here that dont disclose that info simply because everyone woul be blowing them up with stupid issues that anyone on here with a few yrs of exp can answer.....such as when it is ok to get blood testing on a cham...i wouldnt rule out a fecal though.....anyone on here can suggest different ways of handeling issues...this gives options for the person. some theymay not have thought of..its is solely that persons decision on what road to take.......i do not beleavePSSH will endanger her cham in any way

agreed........

Don't worry, I'm still setting up an appointment. I'm just not going to have blood work done. In the mean time I figured it wouldn't start a riot to ask for name suggestions so....

I'd appreciate it if you all didn't think I thought his name is more important. If I wanted help I would ask for it, thanks.

Glad you're still planning on seeing a vet and I hope they are able to help you figure out what is going on. Keep in mind, however, if it wasn't for unsolicited advice, you wouldn't have been alerted to him being undersized in the first place.

Yes, but the key word is wanted. :) for all we know he could just be a smidg and may start growing more normally/rapidly soon.

Needed/necessary isn't always wanted. I tend to be a lot less concerned with the wanted when there is a necessary side of that equation. He may go through a late growth spurt but wouldn't it be unfortunate if that wasn't the case and there had been something you could have done? I'm glad you will be seeing a vet to help determine if there is anything that you can do.

Good luck,

Chris

The god Janus also had received the gift to see both future and past at the same time...so he looked forward and backward at the same time...just like a chameleon can.
