First, I want to thank everyone that helped me so far while I was bumbling in the dark trying to figure all this out.
I posted a few weeks ago with Keyah - a wc senegal that was given to me due to a problematic leg. She has her homemade enclosure and vines and live plants (which I have managed to keep alive - though I think I am attempting to drown one). Since last post I have given her a lay box. I used playsand (wet enough to dig and stay) - hopefully that is acceptable?
As for her, the leg still appears swollen. She uses it fine one moment then it looks like it gets tired/sore and she just lets is dangle and rest. She has been drinking well. She is also eating crickets now (hand fed) and has eaten three days in a row. (don't want to jinx myself though) It seemed she would eat one day then not eat for 2-3, which would scare me.
I wanted to post a picture of her I just took, see what some outside and experienced opinions thought. A general assessment really. She still looks beat-up and skinny to me, but I think she has gained some weight. She of course chose a position where you can't see the bad leg - if anyone wants to see I can post a pic of that too.
