I have now been the proud carer of Ozzy (the dumped vieled chameleon) for 1 week. If you had asked me about chameleons this time last week i would of said 'lizard, long tongue, changes colour'...lol.
Thanks to you all and the great forum that you have here, Ozzy is well on the road to recovery. He has eaten properly for the first time in i don't know how long and he has been out in the sun for the first time.
He has mesmerized me. I am forever spoilt now, turtles and tortoise will never be the same.
At present he is living in an old iguana house. Plans are being made to fix him someting more suitable. I am sure you understand that at the cost of this when i wasn't even sure if he would live but i am quietly confident after seeing him the last few days.
I have read what feels like a million care sheets and i think that your forum and the wonderfully helpful people on here are the best. I have read just about every thread and it they have answered all the questions i have had so far.
Due to a very limited supply of food(i live in Greece) i also have 2 tanks set up, one to breed crickets and one for grasshopper. I have enjoyed every minute of learning about Ozzy and the challange of trying to breed your own food supply.
Thank you all so much for your responses to my questions so far and your encouragement....x:
