My chameleon is a 2 year old male and has recently lost 2 spikes on his back after they went black and fell off, we have also noticed a clicking sound when he is walking, we do calcium his food as much as we can except he has gone of his food and water a bit, he has never had that long nails more like stumps of them than long ones. His poo is still normal. So I need to know what's causing his spikes to fall and these clicking sounds and how to stop them and if they are potentially a sign of something dangerous.

Before u do say calcium we calcium most of his food already.

Do you use multivitamins and calcium with D3 every other week? The calcium you should have been using daily should be without D3, you know that?

Oh I have just seen it saysD3 118,000IU although I don't use arkivits all the time most of the time nutrobal I bought it as i thought it could fix the problem

If it don't say then it probably is pure calcium. You need to supplement your cham more than just calcium tho. You need to give him multivitamins and D3 every other week.
Edit: Im not fast enough. If it has D3 in it you should just use it every other week and a pure calcium powder on regular basis

Hi, calcium alone is null. It needs many other nutrients to help it do what it does Ex: Vitamin D, phosphorus, etc.

Where is the popping coming from?

Just to make sure we are where we should be.
How old are your UVB lights?
How far are the UVB lights from the chameleons basking spot?
Dusting schedule?
