Uv lighting

Just wondering what bulb and and brand everyone is using I am new to this as of today and I don't think the bulb the pet shop sold me is giving out any UVA but I just Want to know the best linear bulb? Thanks

You need both UVB and UVA lighting. The majority of us use the Reptisun 5.0 linear for UVB. Some use the Reptiglo but most of us the Reptisun. Either one is good. Unless you have a combo bulb, your UVB is not gonna give out UVA. Don't always listen to the petshops, unfortunately we have found most of them do not sell the correct supplies in regards to chameleons. For UVA, most of us use regular white housebulbs for basking. Nothing fancy! Depending on how old you cham is and what species you have, will determine what wattage bulb you want to use to desire the correct basking temp.
