Hi guys , I want to buy a chameleon I don´t know if a veiled or a panther I think I´ll go for the veiled because here in Mexico they are expensive, but the point is do I need both UVBs (2.0+5.0) or just 5.0 I want to know because in about 3 weeks I´ll go in a vacational trip to US and I want to buy the ubv, I have a compact repti glo 5.0 but they say they are not so good, so I´ll buy the one in tube.

I have a reptibreez 16x16x20 some fake vines and plants, a pothos plant, digital thermo-hydrometer, monsoon, some clamp lamps, exo terra 50W spot, its ok??

Thanks

You've got a good setup start for sure.. the 5.0 is all that's recommended. That and a house bulb for heat. Have u looked into supplement powders to dust insects with? The 5.0 bulb compact hasn't caused problems in years but i dont think offers enough area cover, none the less uvb bulbs must be replaced roughly every 6 months.

You don't need both. The 5.0 is fine. And, for future reference, you don't need a specialist basking bulb. A regular household incandescent light bulb will produce heat for basking. That should save you a little more cash.
