UVB location

So where is the optimal location for the UVB bulb in a terrarium?

I have this T5 UVB fixture and LED combo:

The UVB stick can be either towards the front edge of the terrarium or I can flip the light 180 degrees and put the UVB more towards the middle of the terrarium.

Does it matter?

Probably best to put it closest to where he basks the most but is still able to get away from it so he can regulate it.
