Veg!

Hi im a little new to having a cham! Dont no if this is a silly question but was wondering could you try and feed your cham green veg as well as crickets and locusts. I have a yemen

Yes you could try the veggies...he will definatley eat the locust etc...but you could also try carrots or another vegetable.

Thats not a silly question at all!lots of peoples chams will eat some fruit or veg for them (not mine personally though) check out some of the past threads for the fav items to offer up to your cham as this can depend on the age,type and size of your guy...good luck!:)
 
With veggies - some chams do and some don't! My first cham, Lily, only ever ate one bite of a leaf, whereas my new cham, Amy, likes to eat her leaves quite often. Make sure you provide safe plants in your cage in case you have a 'leaf muncher'! Amy eats her Hibiscus and Umbrella plants - she used to sleep in her umbrella plant but ate so many leaves that she had to find somewhere else to sleep, lol!:D
