Vegetables and teal hornworms

Okay I was just reading on another form here that your Chamaeleon should be eating vegetables?? I've never heard of that. can someone explain a little bit more. also looking to order some crickets but want to know about hornworms the only kind of hornworms I am finding are teal worms I'm a little confused somebody could help me that would be amazing thank you

Veiled chameleons can be fed vegetables. Maybe you were reading something about gutloading feeders with fruits and vegetables, and then feeding them to your chameleon?

I fed my veiled chameleon a little bit of fruit every now and then- like a piece of a watermelon or strawberry as a treat.
It is more important to make sure that all of your feeders (crickets/worms) are being fed fruits and veggies before you give them to your chameleons.

If you type in hornworms for sale you should find some that are green and some that are blue. They are the same but the food they have been fed was a different color. But same worms. They are expensive but high in water so they can boost your chams up again if they arent drinking as much .
