veiled cham and fruit

Not at my house.
No fruit is given to veiled chameleons here.
I see absolutely no reason to do that.
Collard greens are offered a couple of times a week although they are
rarely accepted anymore. My chams are well hydrated.

I offer Butter a salad a couple days a week. His main feeder is silkworms, so I put a couple pieces of dark greens in his bowl, shred some carrots, and add what ever fruit is around (just a shred or two of something). I stick the silkworms on top of it, and he picks off the silkies, and then if he is interested, he will eat the salad.

I'd say he eats the salad maybe once a week. Just depends on his mood. If I notice that he's eating the plants in the enclousure, I'll give him more greens and vegies.

ok but is he actually ALLOWED grapes etc
There probably isn't any real need to feed fruits but I had a male once that loved fruits. He ate banana, apple (without the skin) and watermelon without any harm. 1/2 to 1" pieces were stuck on branches or put in his feeder bowl and he'd come over and gobble them up. There probably aren't any fruits available in a grocery store that would poison a chameleon. I imagine some of the ones I have now would like fruit but I see little point in it.
