Veiled Cham gone missing

hi my female veiled has gone missing. I last saw her today and I went out and came back and she was gone. I was out for around 4-5 hours. We have a cat but have seen him and couldn’t see any things showing he had her. Do you think there is anywhere she could have gone? We’ve checked loads under things, on top of things, outside and had nothing. We’ve double checked and triple checked. Any ideas? Thanks

They usually go to the top of the closet tree. It’s very important to never leave your chameleon outside without very close supervision. There’s just to many bad things that can happen to them. I hope you find her.

If she's inside, I'd wait til dark and check things with a flashlight up high like curtains, curtain rods, etc. I hope you find her.

We’ve found her!! She was hidden in my brothers hoodie. She was shaken up but fine. Can’t see any injuries. Is there anything I should watch out for over the next couple of days? She went back to her normal colours as soon as we put her back in her viv. She escaped from her viv so we are now keeping and eye on her. Thanks for commenting!

I'm glad you found her. If it happens again also check warm places like behind tvs and such. That's a Go to for my cham and beardies and one time my cham was under my brothers table getting ready for bed. And he's known to cross under beds.

I would just make sure she can't escape again! Especially with a cat in the house. Even if they've interacted before, you can never predict what will happen next. It's still the hunter and the hunted.
